This is Asmodeus. He’s a “demon” who, most recently in history (1400’s) became known as one of the seven crown princes of hell, himself being the representation of Lust.
I’m thinking about getting this tattoo’d on my left shoulder blade area with “Giddeyup, Motherfucker!” in quotations underneath it. It’s a Cough-inspired thing if you’re curious.
Sorta my way of telling myself not to dick around and do something with myself.

6-6-06: The Satanic High Mass
For the first time, the footage of this has been released for public viewing. Some of it has been cut for the requests of privacy by some of the participants.
Now that I’m seeing it, I’m so impressed. This is beautiful.
Note: To all non-Satanists viewing this, this is a customized ritual inspired by those of Anton Szandor LaVey. This is not to be confused with a Black Mass. Black Masses are basically obscene inverted mockeries of the Christian traditions. This ritual was about half-Black Mass, half celebration of the ideas of reason, ability, life and all things anti-spiritual. Satanists do not regularly ritualize in this manner and it is extremely rare to see them gather in such large numbers as most ritual is done by oneself in the comfort of their own home with little exception. But with growing hysteria over the 6/6/6 date, honestly… could you resist?

No ritual I know of calls for using crystals, mainly because there’s no foreseeable reason to.
They’re glorified rocks with interesting structural formations. Nothing really special about them except that they look pretty.
Crystal balls, however… They hold no significance as well, but are great decorative items for those looking for the gypsy fortune-teller trappings (or just plain want to make some money off of chumps who believe in that silliness.)
It should be of note though: ANY item can be used as a tool/instrument for ritual, so long that it actually invokes some significant feeling or emotion which is relevant to the ritual’s purpose and goal.
As for decoration, it doesn’t matter if you want the classic black and red theme or you want a gigantic pink fuzzy Sigil of Baphomet on the wall with barbie voodoo dolls… Whatever works best for your and your tastes is what is best.
Satanists believe in no concept of spirituality at all, so absolutely no exact item is required in general ritualization because of its “unique spiritual/energetic properties.” This is something I don’t think a lot of people understand and get hung up on not having the right bell in this design, or they can’t find a gong in that shape or size… none of it matters, so long as you find something which actually works for the ritual you wish to employ, If exact items were needed, the entire philosophy would be null as people would be selling the said items you “absolutely need” to make money off of you—This is what we call “herd mentality” and antithetical to Satanism entirely.

Newsflash: Times change, and with them, their symbology too. Nearly two thousand years is more than enough time to do so for this one. Don’t believe me? Think about how fast the swastika’s meaning changed. It’s all about what the general populace thinks about a symbol that determines its most real definition. (See: Existentialism)
So pull up your pants, you pseudo-intellectual fucks. The “Cross of St. Peter” is no symbol any Christian would find themselves wearing, nor is it symbolic of atheism or Satanism.
